My name is Kelsey and I live in Ohio. This blog is meant to be a documentation of my life with moderate idiopathic gastroparesis - a stomach condition I was finally diagnosed with in January of 2012, after 10 months of being chronically ill. Not only is gastroparesis an "invisible illness," but so little is understood about the disorder, especially by the general public. So many people out there don't even know what gastroparesis is, not to mention what it's like living with gastroparesis every day. A Utah woman who recently died from Gastroparesis is raising national awareness about the disease and inspiring people across the country.
A very moving story. Made me feel very emotional, especially the part about people not understanding GP. :’( <3 I so wish that we could find a way to treat GP better, if not cure GP!
